To solicit public input and responses on the finalists’ entries, GIPEC sponsored a design competitors exhibit entitled “The Park at the Center of the World: Five Visions for Governors Island.” The exhibit was held at the American Institute of Architects in Manhattan, on Governors Island, and on the net.
